Hi, our names are Jim and Donna. We met when we were around 12 years old through mutual friends one summer at a beach and in our mid-teens we became boyfriend and girlfriend. During these fun times it became clear we had more growing to do as individuals before going any further and getting settled. We focused on building our own lives: we secured good jobs, went on in school, got our own places to live and dated others; basically we got to experience our early twenties as individuals.

We never fully lost touch, and always kept up to date on each other, even from a distance. In our mid-twenties we got back together realizing we had in fact grown; we grew emotionally, spiritually and mentally but rather than apart, we were still right along side each other. We laughed and talked like we had never been apart and knew we were ready to move forward. We got married in 1998, got our finances in order and bought a house in 2001, where we love to spend time.

Our Home
In 2004 we gave birth to a baby girl, named Jessica, through fertility assistance. Jessica is not fully biologically related to us as a couple and it has not made one difference; we love her for her, as her own individual. She has been such a blessing in our life; she has made us realize that we have so much more love to give to more children.

In 2007 we decided to expand our family through adoption; in 2008 Jenna was born and we were chosen to be her parents. Nothing can describe the love we have for Jenna and the gratitude we feel to have been chosen to parent her.

No matter how our children have come to us we believe that it’s through nurturing; loving, respecting and caring that bond us with children and make our family thrive. We would love to expand our family further; we would be blessed and honored to adopt your baby, to love unconditionally and support throughout his or her life. That is why we are here.
